On July 20, 2021, the City Council considered the approach for using the Regional Early Action Planning (REAP) grant that has been awarded to the City for Housing Element work. The grant funds will be used to perform feasibility analysis for nonprofit and government entities that express interest in housing development on their property.
Staff Recommendation: (1) Approve the proposed scope of work and approach to use of the recently awarded grant funds to provide services for the Housing Element update, and (2) Authorize a contract amendment with EPS.
Action: The Council approved the proposed grant approach and a contract amendment with EPS.
