HCD Comment Letter Received

On August 12, following the 90-day Housing and Community Development Department (HCD) initial review period, the City of Orinda received HCD comments on the 6th Cycle Draft Housing Element.  HCD’s letter is based on the recently-revised Draft Housing Element, which can be found here.  The recent revisions were made in response to verbal comments received from HCD during the 90-day review period. 

At this time, City staff and consultants will begin working on responses to the HCD letter and further revisions to the Draft Housing Element in preparation for a second, 60-day review period by HCD.
