Plan Orinda Revised Final Impact Report now available

The Revised Final Environmental Impact Report (RFEIR) for Plan Orinda is now available for review. This report updates the analysis provided in the Partially Revised Environmental Impact Report (PREIR) and serves as a revision to the 2023 Final Environmental Impact Report (FEIR).

The RFEIR evaluates the potential environmental effects of the following:
‣ Downtown Precise Plan rescinded
‣ Housing Element
‣ Safety Element

Key components of the RFEIR include:
‣ Response to Comments received during the public review period for the PREIR
‣ Errata section with updates to the PREIR based on public and agency comments
‣ Follow-up Evacuation Analysis, expanding on the 2022 and 2024 Evacuation Analysis reports

Community members are encouraged to review the RFEIR to stay informed about the environmental and wildfire considerations related to Orinda’s planning efforts.
