On Wednesday, December 14th, the Planning Commission held a virtual meeting to provide feedback on the revised draft Safety Element and draft Downtown Precise Plan (DPP).
The draft Safety Element has been revised based on feedback from prior meetings, public feedback, and comments from CalFire. The DPP documents the City’s long-range planning priorities for downtown Orinda and has been drafted based on three years of meetings, discussions, and public engagement.
Following the December 14th Planning Commission meeting, both the revised draft Safety Element and draft DPP will be presented at the January 10, 2023 City Council meeting for further feedback.
Staff Recommendation: Receive the report, take public testimony, and provide feedback on the revised draft Safety Element and draft Downtown Precise Plan.
Action: No formal action or vote was taken. Feedback was provided on the revised draft Safety Element and draft Downtown Precise Plan.
